I'm going to edit this to put it the usual way round for English.
I think I can still edit but I'm not sure.

I wasn't told that it was a competition!
You'd better change the title as well.
and Alexia: I'm donating the 22 points to you.
You've deserved them.
Lilly.
| | | 1 Şubat 2008 01:32 | | | Hi Tantine and Lilian!
Doesn't "forever and ever" mean an emphasized forever? That's not the meaning of the original text!!
I would say "since always and forever" or something like that, what do you think?
Kisses
Lilutz | | | 1 Şubat 2008 10:36 | | | Hi Lilutz, Lilly, Sweet Dreams
"Forever and ever" means for the rest of all time to come.
Does "desde" mean "since"? (I'm collecting words in Br Portuguese
Maybe I shouldn't have edited it!!!
"Ever and forever" is not a typical phrase in English, which is why I "butted in" on your translation and edited it this way round.
Maybe it should read:
"Since always and for ever more"
or
"Since and for always"
"Since and forever"
Oooof! Now I should donate you all 22 points each to pay for my mistake.

| | | 1 Şubat 2008 12:48 | | | Hi Ruth:
Just to help you improve your Portuguese a bit more....
Desde sempre translates literally since always
however, its meaning is of all the time up to now ( for all my life). That's why I translated as Ever and forever.
Since you disagreed, I didn't want to start a useless argument here, but ...I still trust my version.
For the points...I have already donated them to Sweet Dreams at the moment you gave your support to her guess.
That's not about "points" you know.
Do whatever you think is right, but in any case, you should make the title and the text match.
Bises
Lilly.
