Isn't this text rather in (bad) Serbian than in Georgian? CC: maki_sindja | | | 10 August 2009 20:08 | | | Hi Franck,
No, it's not Serbian. Maybe it IS Georgian...
| | | 10 August 2009 20:33 | | | I said that because Google detected the source-language as Serbian.
In the translation google gives from this text into French, there are several words translated, even some propositions :
à toje c ia normes. et voici où vous est tokaia krasivoa »? par chertam personnes viju Chto s Caucase
(Translated parts in bold)
------------------------------------------------
Maybe is it Russian, till now the most possible to me, as I checked (transliterated the text in cyrillic then submit it to the google translator.
"да иа тойе в норме. а откуда ето ти токаиа краÑивоа `? по чертам лица вию что Ñ ÐºÐ°Ð²ÐºÐ°Ð·Ð°"
Into French (same as for the translation above) :
Oui IA Toye normal. et où ето té actuelle krasivoa »? viyu que sur les caractéristiques du Caucase...

I'll be back in a couple of hours
| | | 10 August 2009 21:18 | | | I think Georgian, Russian and other languages from that part of Europe are similar and that's why Google detected it as Russian. It recognizes some words or prepositions that are similar or even same in couple of languages. It may also recognize some words that are spelled the same but have different meanings in different languages.
There are some words in this text (only few of them) that could be Serbian when isolated but like this it's not Serbian for sure. | | | 10 August 2009 23:51 | | | That is why it is hard to make an idea about whether this text is Georgian or another language.
And without an expert in Georgian, I'm afraid this text can't be translated.
I'll have a look to possible Georgian native speakers possibly connected and I'll send them a link from this page.

This is Russian, but wrong script.
There is original script for requests:
"Да и Ñ, то е в нoрмe. A откуда eто Ñ‚Ñ‹ толькaÑ ÐºÑ€Ð°ÑивaÑ? По чертaми лицa вижy чтo c кaвкaза."
| | | 11 August 2009 11:43 | | | Hehe! Thanks fikomix! (say, I wasn't that far from it, uh? )
What we can do is editing with the proper script and leave the text that was submitted originally in the remarks field.
I'll do that and release this request. | | | 11 August 2009 14:45 | | | The transcription of the Fikomix is wrong. It should be: "Да и Ñ Ñ‚Ð¾Ð¶Ðµ в нoрмe. A откуда Ñто Ñ‚Ñ‹ Ñ‚Ð°ÐºÐ°Ñ ÐºÑ€Ð°ÑивaÑ? По чертaм лицa вижy чтo (Ñ‚Ñ‹) Ñ Ðšaвкaза." |
