Is this a dance or a game? The German translation (suggested by Merdogan) says 'played' for 'danced'...

It's a folk dance, so I think Lizzzz's translation is correct!

Gespielt means played.

I think maybe the German version might be inaccurate, since Sunnybebek says that it is a dance, rather than a piece of music?

I think I will validate this as it is and leave a message for the German Expert so as an edit might be made on the German version.

"gespielt" = performed

"Performed" is good, it covers many possibilities, "danced" as well as "played" are to particular.
