I have made a few edits; let me know if you don't agree.
Here is your original translation:
I liken you to stars. You are as glistening as them and also as sparkling as them. Yet, there is an only difference between you and them; they are a thousand, you are the one. |

| | Would you mind if learnt what is wrong with 'I liken you to stars'? |

| LeinNumărul mesajelor scrise: 3389 | No problem! It is just that it sounds more biblical than anything else. I find it difficult to take it seriously when I see the sentence and I don't think the idea here was to make it so melodramatic that it becomes a joke. Another possibility would be 'I compare you to the stars', if you prefer. |

| | I think 'you are like the stars' is better. |

| | Sorry, Lein! I think you were faster than me again. I´ve read rollingmaster´s original translation, you see? (For example: "I like you to stars." = "You´re like the stars."
Bye!

| | Hi guys
I think the translation is fine. But I suggest saying:
"they are a thousand, (but) you are unique"
If it gives exactly the same meaning, it is OK |

| LeinNumărul mesajelor scrise: 3389 | I like your suggestion! I think it sounds more beautiful. ('you are the one = you are the one for me; you are unique = you are a very special person, not only to me, you just are)
Rollingmaster, are you happy for me to change it? |

| | You don't need to even ask, Lein |
