Lieber Jörn,
Bei prächtigem Herbstwetter radelte ich mit meinen üblichen Tempo nach Babelsberg. Es geht erstklassig! Gestern traf ich eine kleine Bekannte aus dem letzten Urlaub als Schaffnerin. Seinerzeit ging sie noch zur Schule. Mir gehts täglich besser; hoffentlich darf ich bald schwimmen! Unser General, der alte Ramcke, erhielt bei Brest die Brillanten. Für heute alles!

When I was tipping the letter, I found very difficult understand some words, because the text is very old.
1º: Probably the name is Jörn,
2º: prächtigem Herbstwetter, is dificult to read this words cause the stamp is over it. Maybe is the name of a place???? "Srächitgarten Jerbshoetter" No idea!!! :-(
3º: Could be Zeit, or Zeif, or Zeil... the fourth word it's dificult to read
4º: Darf; or Danf, or dant .... ups!
5º: erlüelt, I think this word could be erhüelt... ...has it sense?

The postcard is from year 1944, it has the stamp of the third reich, and it is written by hand with an old style. For these reason it's very difficult understand all words and letters. I think it could be a letter of a young soldier to his brother. The stamp is from Postdam (a place near Berlin-Germany)
Please, try to translate it. Or make a aproximate translation. I will be happy with the result.

"bei" is a preposition. This sentence means "montaba en bicicleta por magnífico tiempo..."(no sé cómo se diría en español).
