It is certainly true that the children of phobics are more likely to be fearful and anxious,but it's difficult to say whether this is genetic or learnt.As the capacity to be anxious or ferful depents on a chemical balance in the brain,it is possible that this chemical imbalance is passed down from parent to child.

Несъмнено, много вероятно е децата на хората с фобии да изпитват страх и тревожност, но е трудно да се каже дали това е генетически заложено или е придобито. Понеже способността да си уплашен или тревожен зависи от химическия баланс в мозъка, възможно е този химически дисбаланс да се предава от родител на дете.
