Ja, jag är inte alls ofta här inne. Hinner inte, eftersom hunden tar mycket tid.
Den svenska översättningen stämmer ju med den engelska, men jag tycker inte att den turkiska pratar om utmattning. Jag får det till att: "Du var inte ensam, därför sov du ytligt." (Inte riktigt detsamma!) Resten håller jag med om.

Tack snälls Lena, då ändrar jag det.

Jag förstår att hunden tar tid, mysigt. Kul att du loggade in i alla fall, jag saknar mina två svenska kumpaner (Pia har inte heller varit inne på länge!!) Ha det bäst.

Men, det kanske är bäst att kolla med Figen. Det ser ut som att hon gjort den engelska "bridgen". Jag kanske är ute och cyklar!! :P

Sorry to disturb with this text again, but are you sure about the first sentence? Could it be as Lena suggested above: "You were not alone, that's why you had a shallow sleep."

Sorry for the late response.

Let me explain it step by step.
'Kendinde olmamak' literally means 'to be unconscious'. Above the expression is used as 'kendinde deÄŸildin'='you were unconscious'.
But the sentence above goes on with 'bu yüzden uyudun' wich means 'that is why/because of that you fell asleep'.
What I understand when I read the whole sentence is that someone fell asleep as if being unconscious (probably) because was so tired/exhausted; so, I've used 'exhausted' in stead of 'unconscious', because it'd be weird to say 'you were unconscious, that's why you fell asleep'.

Btw,in the source text there's nothing that means (or refers to) 'You were not alone, that's why you had a shallow sleep'.
