Eragon finds a dragon egg. When the egg craks a dragon cub appears. The dragon grows up in a short time and it becomes Eragon's Dragon Cavalier. The king who is searching for the dragon's egg, sends creatures to find an old dead cavalier called Brom. They take Brom Eragon and escape from the country. He sees the witch trapping him. Brom dies while trying to save Eragon. Eragon escapes from the jail with the help of his dragon. Eragon kills the witch in the war.

And one more thing. Are you sure Eragon kills 'the witch'? I think he kills a wizard. I saw that movie, the dragon Saphira was getting hurt during that attacks. It was so sad
