Thanks Sweet Dreams. This is causing me some dilemma
Apparently, it's the requester's fault, he's excused as he is a newcomer here. I'm obliged to remove one of the two requests, it means that I've also got to reject one of the translations.
As I don't know Portuguese very well, it would be great if some of you Portuguese experts could tell me which one I gotta reject...
One of them is mine.
icarmo's profile doesn't say that she speaks any Germanic language besides English. Both are almost the same (lthough mine is awful at the end), and she didn't translate "hoor".
Hard situation. Maybe a bridge could save us.
Ah, no bridge here yet?
(I've been in Greece for a while I'm sorry)
Good morning Sergio! Everything is fine here! And with you/at your [plural] place in Tielen? (it was Tielen, wasn't it?)
'wasn't it' is a lot more formal than 'he?'.
'Hoor' in this meaning is very hard to translate. In this case it sounds reassuring, as if someone asked 'is everything all right there?' when he is worried about something specific.
Icarmo, de acordo com a ponte dada por Martijn, a tradução deveria ser: "Bom dia, Sergio! Aqui está tudo bem! E convosco aà no vosso sÃtio em Tielen? (Era em Tielen, não era?)"
