Target language: English
Priority is given to hyphenless writing in the examples perceived as one notion and having a monosyllabic accent, while in the combinations considered to be connected less closely and perceived as a free connection of two units, the prerogative is given to hyphenation. In Croatian orthography all those examples are written exclusively together. According to the rule, nounal combinations in which the first part is a foreign unchanging adjectival word or a word which can be considered an unchanging adjective, are written separately.
