| Min kærlighed til dig er større end verden.... | TranslationDeens Translated by aisi | Target language: Deens
Jeg elsker også dig meget højt. Min kærlighed til dig er større end verden. Jeg er villig til at ofre mig for én eneste af dine tårer. min skat, min eneste ene. | Remarks about the translation | I realize that the souce language text has now become a lot larger than the original text, but I have tried to implement the suggestions made by smy (thank you!) and, by doing so, the text just kept growing :-) |

"My love for you is greater than worlds....
I also love you very much. I am willing to sacrifice myself to your only drop. my honey, my only one."
Especially the part about "I am willing to sacrifice myself to your only drop" sounds really strange to me - is that really what it says in the original text? CC: serba smy | | | 12 December 2007 15:47 | | smyNumber of messages: 2481 | I'll make a complete bridge
bridge:
I love you too, as great as the world. I'm willing to sacrifice my life for your one drop of tear my love, my only one. | | | 12 December 2007 16:15 | | | thank you smy! Just a few doubts:
Does "as great as the world" refer to the size of the person´s love or does it mean that this person´s love is as big for his "honey" as it is for the world?
Could the sentence maybe be translated to "I love to too, more than anything in this world"? I do not understand a single word of Turkish, so I´m just speculating :-)
And about the "I´m willing to sacrifice my life for your one drop of tear", I wonder if it means that the person would sacrifice his own life if that could prevent his love from crying OR that he would give anything (even his life) for one tear drop from that girl (in the trade for a tear drop). Or maybe it means something else?
I´m sorry but I´m really not that good at interpreting romatic, poetic texts and I find it really hard to find the right translation for them too :-) | | | 13 December 2007 08:16 | | smyNumber of messages: 2481 | Hello Anita_Luciano, (sorry for the late answer), this is the explanation:
"as great as the world" refers to the size of the person´s love, so it could also be translated as "I love you so much, my love for you is as great as the world" (you can make two sentences here to complete the meaning).
About the second part (tear drop) I should say I'm not very good at interpreting poems too . So I think your second suggestion may be true in this case: he would give anything (even his life) for one tear drop from that girl (in the trade for a tear drop)
I hope it's clear | | | 13 December 2007 10:07 | | | Original form of translation (before my corrections):
