Source language: Turkish

yaklaş bana yanmazsın
yansan da o senin içinde yangın.
şu an aklına düştüm, aklın yolu birdir dedim yürüdüm.
mevzum nedir anlarsın, arzum sana yalvarsın.
şu an kendimi gördüm, küçüldükçe küçüldüm.

Title
close up to me

Translated by handyy
Target language: English

Come close up to me, you won't burn
If you even burn, it'd be the fire inside you.
Now I crossed your mind, saying "Great minds think alike" I went ahead.
You'll get what my concern is, may my desire appeal to you!
Now I saw myself, I became smaller and smaller.

Hi Handyy,

What do you mean by:
"You'll get what my concern is, may my desire beg you! "

I didn't get this line.

Hi Lilian,

There is a comma but these two sentences have no semantic relation. first sentence[mevzum nedir anlarsın--you will get what my concern is] means that one day you will understand for what I concern. the next sentence [arzum sana yalvarsın--may my desire beg you!] means I wish my desire begged you

What I don't get is that "beg" there. Do you mean : "forgive"?

Ah, no Lilian, "forgive" is not the word that meets the meaning of "yalvarmak". there is a personification; a desire makes an earnest request [from somebody]. hope it is clear now

OK, so...what about:
"...may my desire appeal to you!"?

Well, that would make sense in English.
If you edit it we can set a poll.
What do you say?
