Wie ist Deine Arbeitszeit ? Musst Du immer von morgens bis abends arbeiten ? Jeden Tag ?

A hard "rock wall" exists against rock music in Iran. What could be the reaction of a hard rocker against such wall? A knock? No. Arashk guys chose to YELL!

YELL album songs range from hard rock to heavy metal and progressive rock but there is one unifying theme: Centuries of pain and hope looking salvation in lyrics of great poets and music of bold young musicians who find nothing better expressing their spirit than heavy rock music. It gets back to 2001 when Pouyan Khajavi and Shahram Khosraviani established Arashk band and started their artistic expression, rock style... But it was not sooner than 7 years later when Arashk built a private studio and recorded the album themselves.

The Persian lyrics convey various themes from an innocent prisoner (song "Prison", lyrics: Masud Sa'd Salman) to story of Zahhak, evil mythical emperor of Persia who fed the black serpents on his shoulders with youth human brains (song "Yell", lyrics: Ferdowsi).

YELL album has Pouyan Khajavi on vocals/guitars, Shahram Khosraviani on drums arrangement and Salim Ghazi Saeedi on guitars and keyboards. The bass parts are also played by Pouyan. In YELL you find rich melodic riffs and solos of hard rock accompanied by the creative spirit prevalent in progressive rock and an eastern blend evoking deep emotions refreshing your soul by rich Persian spirit!

Generally categorized as Persian hard rock, YELL album composers, Pouyan and Shahram think that the album's style has formed spontaneously: "The compositions were intended to reflect the inherent soul within poems themselves. And it is surprising that how these poems were excellently blended with hard rock and metal styles.". Pouyan says. "So one may not find any paradox between singing in Persian and western music style at all." The YELL spirit confirms that despite the ancient style of the poems (mostly versified about 700 years ago), their concepts could still be applicable and even more present in today life!

Antes trabajaba como dependienta y encontraba distracción con la clientela. Sólo que había algo que el marido no soportaba: el superior de ella barajaba dinero con frecuencia. El marido era cauteloso: ella tenía que ir a ingresar estos fajos de billetes. Y tenía un peso que le quitaba el sueño: que le abandonara por otro o por un fajo de dinero. Después de una penosa jornada el marido iba a la cocina y lo único que percibía era que aquella cocina estaba fría como la muerte. Esto y que quedaban restos de jabón en el fregadero. El marido se esperaba, los brazos cruzados en la mesa y, después de un cuarto de hora de tensa espera, acababa con las manos en la cabeza. Un día se abrochó la chaqueta y bajó las escaleras a toda prisa maldiciendo la mujer y el trabajo, pero sobre todo la mujer. A menudo este hombre en la taberna olvidaba sus propias penas. También el hijo se acostumbraba a la comida del colegio. Pero aquella tarde el hombre siguió andando hasta que entró en la tienda y suplicó que Anna se quitara aquel uniforme absurdo y volviera a casa. Sólo que Anna dijo: ¡ni hablar! El trabajo de ella ayudaba a pagar facturas, de ahí sacaban para la ropa del niño, libros para la escuela del niño, así como las clases privadas del niño. Mientras atardecía Anna siguió trabajando, envolviendo regalos y haciendo buena cara. Eran casi las nueve cuando puso la llave en el cerrojo, y en cuanto entró recibió la primera paliza. Después tuvo que preparar la cena, aunque tuviera un brazo dislocado.

En una casa siempre queda por hacer. Incluso en un piso pequeño. La voz del marido aturde, dentro y fuera de su habitáculo. Los vecinos ya lo conocen, sólo que él tiene un escaso contacto con el resto de vecindario. Actualmente Anna y el resto de cosas que pospone en su horizonte se resumen en una cama que hace a primera hora, en una lavadora de ropa que recoge del suelo, y que más tarde tiende pieza por pieza en un balcón pequeño que da a un patio de luces. Mientras ordena la casa, ventila habitaciones y comedor, barre el suelo y lo friega de rodillas, que es como se llega a todos los rincones. Más tarde toma nota de todo aquello que falta, hace una compra pequeña, siempre consciente de hasta donde puede gastar. Y antes que el suelo se haya secado prepara el almuerzo, enciende la televisión mientras pliega y plancha la ropa, y de golpe y porrazo ya tiene el marido esperando. El hombre espera cualquier cosa con cara y ojos, que no significa que espere a Anna. Ella se sienta al lado de su marido y en dicho comedor sus miradas se aproximan por inercia al televisor. La televisión a diferencia de la casa da recoldo. Incluso los hijos de los vecinos que lanzan pelotas al patio mientras gritan y ríen. Ellos ya no tienen hijos, aunque lo intentaron en el pasado. Ellos ya subieron uno. Ahora el hijo se ha ido, y pronto formará una familia nueva, parecida a la única imagen que ha visto.
