| | This is such an old request that I doubt if this user will reply. Her last visit was almost 3 years ago!
We'd better do it ourselves. CC: Francky5591 |

| | Hi Lilian!
Oops! I didn't pay too much attention and addressed LILIsk8 a message, while the one who submitted it this time is naaga. But you're right, as naaga isn't the one who typed this text we'll have to do it ourselves.

| | May I have a bridge from the Brasilian version?
Thanks a lot! CC: lilian canale |
| | 7 Жовтня 2010 13:18 |
| | Sure
"I am alive (in order) to protect the one I love" |
| | 7 Жовтня 2010 13:25 |
| | |

| | However, I'm not sure about this version in Br. Port.
The evaluation was a bit confusing. I think we should ask Ian for confirmation.
Hi Master, could you please confirm (or not) my bridge above?
Thanks in advance CC: IanMegill2 |

| | Yup, there's a mistake in the original. It should be:
Aishiteiru hito o mamoru tameni boku wa ikiteiru.
And it does indeed exactly mean
I exist to protect the people/person I love.
However, the meaning in Japanese of "mamoru" has a wider meaning than just "to protect", so this text could also mean (and actually probably does mean):
I live/exist to take care of the person/people I love.
Nice raison d'etre... |

| | Hummm...thanks Ian.
As I thought, the translation into Portuguese needs edits
I'll correct it.
Francky, we had the same idea (consulting Ian). CC: Francky5591 |

| | Yeah, but as Ian said : you were faster!
I'll add some details according to what Ian said above in the remarkd field under the translation I did into French. |
| | 7 Жовтня 2010 15:40 |
| | I have already edited the Portuguese version into:
"I live to take care of who I love" |
| | 7 Жовтня 2010 15:46 |
| | I also edited the French version accordingly, the main change is that I switched singular with plural (ceux que j'aime' instead of "la personne que j'aime", as I'm quite sure this kind of saying is not limited to one person (Ian said moreover : "people" |

| | "who I love" or "quien amo" both may mean singular or plural |
