Yo creo que sí, "tiritar" se utiliza exclusivamente cuando uno tiembla a causa del frío. Si el texto original no transmite esta idea de frío, mejor dejarlo en "temblar".

Lilian, the meaning in the Turkish text is actually "take refuge in the pouring rain" contrary of "escape from the rain" so in this case shouldn't we say "Refugiarse en la lluvia.."?

According to the original text we can edit the sentence as "La condición del horizonte con mucha/máxima luz de la luna" and I guess the meaning is more understandable like this?
