Op de locatie Akkerlaan is de afdeling Eerste Opvang Voortgezet Onderwijs gevestigd, ook wel Internationale Schakelklas of kortweg ISK genaamd. Het gaat hier om een aparte vorm van onderwijs, bestemd voor anderstalige leerlingen die geen of te weinig kennis hebben van de Nederlandse taal om voortgezet onderwijs of een beroepsgerichte opleiding te kunnen volgen.
Na Akkerlaan powstał oddzia szkoły Eerste Opvang Voortgezet, również z klasą międzynarodową w skrócie nazywaną ISK. Chodzi tu o oddzielną formę szkolenia, przeznaczoną dla uczniów mówiących w innych językach, którzy nie znają lub słabo znają język niderlandzki by kontynuowali naukę lub by mieli możliwość odbycia szkolenia zawodowego.
