almost all of the sentence is correct, except for the word "successful".
"dygtig" rather means something like "skilful", "smart", "intelligent".

If you say you´re "dygtig" at something, then it means "good at" (ex: you´re good at cooking).
In this context, however, I´d translate it to "skilful" or "smart".
