Vier miljoen mensen zijn op de straten op zoek naar eten. Het is waar dat er droogte is, mislukte oogsten, stammenoorlogen, ongeorganiseerde en mislukte staten. Elk ander land dat een tekort tegemoet ziet zou voedselreserves aanleggen. Maar ze kunnen het niet betalen. Waarom niet? Omdat de grote banken en hun hedgefondsen enorme winsten maken door de prijzen op te drijven van graan, rijst en maÃ¯s.
