When I went to Dolmabahçe Palace, I was only in third grade. I was a student at Erol Türker Primary School. When I saw the places where our forefather had lived, with our teacher, Gül Erdem, and my scout friends, I felt like I had really been there.
When I first got there, there was a Turkish flag over the bed where my forefather had slept, and the radio was playing the Tenth Year March. The flowers in the palace garden were very beautiful. Later, we toured the palace and then got onto our bus and returned home. The day was really nice.
