Poslednja poruka | | | | | 18 Februar 2008 18:25 | | | This is not good English. You did well in the other translations so I am inclined to think this one you did when you were tired. Here are the bad parts:
we await your mail to be sent to our @mail address confirming whether or not there are any remarks you would like to add.
" according to me" Do you mean concerning me? Or to my attention. This last line is totally not understandable in the context of the paragraph. | | | 18 Februar 2008 21:48 | | | hmm that bad part is pretty much the whole translation then.
i guess i stuck to much to the original word for word.
I'll correct it later because now i'm even more tired, perhaps by then some good Samaritan will have done it.
about the last line like i said in the remarks i don't understand it in the original either. As far as i can tell it does not mean "concerning me" or "to my attention" though that would make more sense | | | 18 Februar 2008 21:54 | | | well...we have to work something out friend. It can't stay as it is.
Best,
David | | | 18 Februar 2008 22:04 | | | you're right, it can't
well perhaps a native english speaker could rephrase it? or a turkish speaker who understands the meaning of "bana göre" within that sentence could edit it? | | | 19 Februar 2008 08:28 | | | That is definately an idea...I will put it up to a
native Turkish speaking administrator.
Best,
David | | | 19 Februar 2008 08:34 | | | Please look at this: We need to know how to phrase the last part and how to translate bana gore.
Thanks

"bana göre" has a typo, it should be "buna göre"=in respect to this,
so the second part should be:
"in respect to this, we await your mail to our @mail address... regarding whether there are any items you would like to add"
now, I'll edit the source | | | 19 Februar 2008 10:06 | | | thanks smy... amazing how much a single letter threw me off | | | 19 Februar 2008 11:16 | | smyBroj poruka: 2481 | thesese typos are real nuisances always , why did you check the page dramati? | | | 19 Februar 2008 11:41 | | | I wanted to be sure that it got to you as an amin. and Turkish expert. | | | 19 Februar 2008 11:43 | | smyBroj poruka: 2481 | sure it did |
