Notas sobre a tradução
This testimonial is to be translated for an employer in the USA. I am not absolutely sure about the structure (where TWIMC should be placed) and about the combinatory of some words.

Hi, Lilian!

I'm sorry if I've distorted the sense of the testimonial.

But if you mean the line "Характеристика дана для предоставления по месту требования", I could explain. The Russian word combination "для предоставления по месту требования" has a direct analogue in English - "to who it may concern", or briefly "TWIMC". As I've read in dictionary, it's a wide use standard phrase in official documents. One thing I didn't understand is WHERE "TWIMC" should be placed, before the main text or after it. If you are sure how to do the right, please, make a correction.

Concerning word combinatory, I tried to use the most appropriate words, but I don't sure how well they "combined". It's like using wrong preposition between right verb and noun - you can catch the meaning anyway, but it sounds silly or illiterately. I hope, you've understood. If I've made mistakes be sure to correct them.

Thank you

Oh, OK, that explains it

I'd like to give some suggestions to make it more natural in English:

During her career, Svetlana proved being a capable, responsible, careful, and perspective worker.
She is seen by her fellow workers as a friendly and willing person always ready to support a colleague in need. She is also on good terms with our clients.
Other Svetlana’s distinguishing characteristics are her diligence and high capacity for work.

What do you think?
Does this convey the original?

Yes, it conveys the original in general. But I'm slightly confused with "in good terms" - I've not found it in English dictionaries.

To clear the sense I tell that "находить общий язык" literally means "to find a common language", but implies "to communicate in a good manner" (also possible shades of meaning "to deal without problems", "to attain a mutual comprehension". This should be translated to my mind "to get along", "to get on", or "to track" (the last is an "American" variant, as was noted in dictionary, so it seemed to me as more suitable variant).

Does your variant imply the same senses I mentioned?

Hi Nikolaius,

Yes, "to be on good terms with someone" means: "to get along with someone" "to have smooth relations"

I don't quite agree with the translation of some words because they don't answer stylistic demands of the text. My variant: willing person (wrong) - responsive employee (right), in good terms (wrong) - on good terms (right), high capacity for work (wrong, because the word combination has a polytechnical meaning) - high ability to work (right). Last sentence: The characteristic is to be given at request
