But you can't find everything you look for there. Besides, the salesmen are Turkish; which means you can trust them. Also they can provide you with anything you want from Cyprus. I had very good friends there. Sometimes surprise gifts would come in one of the packages. We even gave our lives for them in the past.

Hi again rollingmaster

A few questions:

- 'salesmen are Turkish': 'the salesmen are Turkish' sounds better (without 'the', the sentence seems to say that all salesmen are always Turkish ). Alternatively, 'our' salesmen or 'their' salesmen can be used, if it is clear from the text what salesmen he is talking about.
- 'over from Cyprus': this is very informal 'speaking' English, not writing English. I'm happy with this, as long as the tone of the text is very informal (just a chat with a friend). Otherwise, 'from Cyprus' would be better.
- I had very good friends there maybe?
- Sometimes surprise gifts might take out of packages -> this sounds very strange. For starters, gifts don't tend to take - we take the gift out of a package. My sugggestion: Sometimes a surprise gift (or: surprise gifts) would come in one of the packages.
- The last sentence doesn't seem to have any connection to the rest of the text. Is that the same in Turkish? (eg who did we give our lives for? why mention it here?)
