At the beginning it was fine but later on we came into a road that was uneven and bad. After a distance of about 20 kilometres our tyre broke down. A big part of the middle part of the tyre had been pulled away and we stopped to change it by the verge. We had luck that brought the reserve tyre with us, otherwise it had not worked out that good. But it doesn't took long until the reserve tyre broke down due to the bad and the uneven road. The other tyre that had been broken since earlier one could drive on, but it wasn't the best.

Don't you want to spell tyre as tire? It is how we spell it in US English.

The translation isn't written in good English. I think there's some grammatical mistakes.

Hi Alma963,
could you please tell a little bit more what you think is wrong? That would be a big help.

dramati,
this message was sent to my Inbox from Alma963.
I think that she has good proposals...
What do you think?

HiWell, for example there are mistakes in "annars hade det inte gått så bra" It is now "otherwise it had not worked out that good"
I think it should be like:
"Otherwise it wouldn't have gone that well"

"reverse tyre" is not a phrase used in England as far as I know..I think "spare tyre" is an idiomatic phrase for that.
