I'll just put a comma after "feda". | | | 17 Février 2010 23:28 | | | Could you provide a bridge for evaluation, please? CC: CursedZephyr | | | 20 Février 2010 10:39 | | | | | | 21 Février 2010 11:15 | | | Hi Sunny, I'm sorry to bother you, but it seems that all our Turkish experts are on vacation
Would you mind confirming if this means:
"All to those I love, nothing to the ones I don't (love)"?
Thanks in advance.
CC: Sunnybebek | | | 21 Février 2010 14:16 | | | Hi again Lilian,
Sorry, I didn't see your message (I didn't check my mails , please send me a personnal message when you want to ask me a question )
Actually, it means (I hope the English is correct):
"The one who loves (me) is worth the sacrifice of (my) life, goodbye to the one who doesn't love (me)"
The bridge in French (to be sure):
"Celui qui (m')aime mérite le sacrifice de (ma) vie, adieu à celui qui ne (m') aime pas"
Hope it helps. | | | 22 Février 2010 18:03 | | | Oh! Idioms are so hard to translate, but after Hazal's bridge and some explanations that Cheese gave me, I think it's better "Grandes sacrifÃcios pelos que me amam, Nada para os que não me amam"
CC:lilian canale | | | 25 Février 2010 22:50 | | | Hi Lilian,
I thought I had already written a bridge here for the text Because we talked about it with Lizzz. I guess I was a little bit confused. Anyway...
In my opinion, the English bridge should be: Supreme sacrifice/ A laid down life (I'm not sure if it's correct in English) for the ones who loves (me), good bye for the one who doesn't love (me)".
So Hazal is right and I think too, the word "sacrifice" should be used in the translated text as well. |
