Bonjour, tu as fait de beaux rêves?
Texte

Bisous mon coeur.

Langue d'arrivée: Anglais

Good morning, did you have nice dreams?
I hope that the family is okay? Don't hesitate to call me if you feel blue.
I adore seeing you on webcam, I cheer up and I am happy afterwards.
I wanted to show you the present that I gave to Diego and Dipa before giving it to them but you weren't there, never mind.
I will think about you a lot tonight.
Kisses sweetheart.

Tantine, I did some major edits here - could you please check it and let me know if you think it's correct? Is "avoir le moral" "cheer up"?

Hi Kafetzou,

"Avoir le moral" is "being in good spirit". Cheer up, here is a good substitute.

For the present, it is not one that has been "made" but has been "offered". "Faire un cadeau à" someone is to offer a present to them. "Faire un cadeau pour" someone would be to make a present for someone.

Bises

Oh! Thank you so much. BTW, I just signed up for a French course last night - it's about time, don't you think?

Ian, the edits you've made don't belong in the comments field, but you can put them in the notes below the translation.

In this case, it's a little embarrassing for me, since one of the edits you made was of an edit I made (incorrectly!).

Anyhow, I've taken your notes out.

Sorry, I owe you guys an apology! I didn't see that you were in the process of discussing this translation, so I just went ahead and did it...

Oops...I'm still new at this?

Mooo...(Bull in a china shop mooing; not your little calf, Tantine!)

Not a problem, Ian - you were right, anyhow!
