| | Hmm... lisälaitteet, perävaunun, korityyppi, jarrujärjestelmä spelling mistakes.
-have to check "-pankot" (guess the basic form is "pankko" but have too faint an idea what it could be
-no idea what is "alb"
I will get back to this if I can get some enlightment to these or not. |

| | OK, some info.
-puutavarapankko is an additional equipment to a truck (lorry) designed to help transport of timber (=puutavara), it has the poles on each side to keep the load in place (also providing help in tying it together) and some aluminium structure with which it is attached to the truck.
Pictures: http://www.kuormavaline.fi/
-alb is a pneumatic brake system (the wheels non-locking) which adjusts itself according to the load (I guess how heavy the truck with its load is) - alb: kuormituksen mukaan säätyvät jarruventtiilit (lukkiutumisen estoventtiili, toimii paineilmalla) - compare to abs: lukkiutumattomat jarrut (also non-locking, but non-pneumatic, brakes used in cars for people)

| | Why don't you edit the text with right words now?
Let's work! |
| | 6 Julio 2007 19:03 |
| | And then there is "vetokytkin"... It is the coupler where the trailer is connected - I think hook would be understood, it goes with itself that also the wires (electricity, pneumatic) are connected...
Aren't we learning a lot! |

| | 7 Julio 2007 11:00 |
| | And I learn more of the site too, did not know I could edit the spelling....
lisälaitt. = lisälaitteet = additional equipment

| | "vetokytkin" it seems that this really means the pneumatic etc coupler (not the hook), there are two kinds of coupling methods and of course they have to match (truck+trailer), see http://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vetokytkin

| | Could puutavarapankko be translated: 'log holder' or something like that?
vetovytkin shall be 'engate', wich englobe all this. |
