The homes are decorated with lights and Christmas images. And inside the homes is the Christmas tree with presents under it. Children wait until midnight to open their presents and play with them until the early morning.

	lilian canale Numero di messaggi: 14972	esperan = wait estÃ¡n esperando = are waiting The text is just describing how things usually work at Christmas (permanent truth), not something that is happening now (at this moment), therefore a present progressive doesn't fit here.
