Is it possible to write as pacerx wrote above, same meaning? |
| | 24 Gennaio 2012 20:13 |
| | Hi Pia,
There's just a slight difference between the sentences. Have a look:
Matercula, in corde meo in perpetuum manebis.
= Mummy, you'll stay in my heart forever.
Mater, tu es in perpetuum in corde meo
=Mother, you are in my heart forever.

| | Hi pacerx,
If I was to decide, I'd use "Matercula" instead of "Mater". It is just nicer and more tender. |

| | Aneta. Are you sure about the translate? Is it correct? i want to be sure when i got the tatto |
| | 26 Gennaio 2012 21:51 |
| | Hi parcex,
If I hadn't been sure, I wouldn't have accepted it.
There wasn't nothing complicated about it. It is a simple sentence and even a beginner in Latin would manage to translate it. Believe me, I'm not a beginner. |
