Well, translation is not literal (at least from french), but the sense is the same.

imogilnitskaya is right, this is a "meaning only" translation, and it is validable as it was translated.

Frankly, I would welcome the help of some Arabic expert. I was thinking that يسهل means "it is facilitated", but now I see that it more likely means "it is easy". I think, the rest of my translation is literal. If this new meaning is the case, then we can translate it like this:

The understanding of mathematics is easy when linked with reality.
