The vase is handpainted. Ulrica is one of the most succesful Swedish glass artists. Her work is represented at Museums all over the world, i.e. National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, The Corning Museum of Glass, New York, Victoria and Albert Museum, London. This series, which is no longer in stock at the Kosta Boda, is called 'Nevada'. For this design Ulrica received an award for excellent Swedish form. 'Ormen' - the snake - represents the secret, and the spiritual force. Mint

There are some corrections that definetely should be made: "Ulrica Ã¤r en av sveriges mest kÃ¤nda..." should be as follows: "Ulrica Ã¤r en av Sveriges mest framgÃ¥ngsrika...". Also: "FÃ¶r dess design mottog..." should be: "FÃ¶r denna design erhÃ¶ll...". Another little detail that should be altered: - The signature "Mint" should stand as it is for two reasons: 1. It's the persons signature(!) 2. If you translate the signature "Mint" in English can mean two things: either "Mynta" which is the actual plant or aroma/spice derived from it - or it could just mean "Mint" which is the most common word referring to the aroma and taste from the plant itself.
