The vase is handpainted. Ulrica is one of the most succesful Swedish glass artists. Her work is represented at Museums all over the world, i.e. National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, The Corning Museum of Glass, New York, Victoria and Albert Museum, London. This series, which is no longer in stock at the Kosta Boda, is called 'Nevada'. For this design Ulrica received an award for excellent Swedish form.
