Translation
English

Translated by elmota
Target language: English

It came to our attention that your company is interested in setting up an arrangement with serious Egyptian companies producing dry goods and garments - specifically cotton-made, to produce these goods for you, according to specifications and designs agreed upon by both parties.
So please be notified of our interest in making this deal, and find attached some promotional material about our company.

Many thanks to you.
Remarks about the translation
I am sure it can get better, I can use all the help, this sounds like an official letter, i am not great in official letters

creating a protocol with serious Edyption companies --> ???
garmnent --> garments
to dedicate production to you --> ???

Please let someone else translate, and if it is accepted you can compare your translation to theirs, OK?

OK; if you want to un-reject it, it's OK with me, but it still needs more editing than I can do, because I don't totally understand it (see my comments above), although I admit it helps that it now says Egyptian instead of Edyption!!

Unfortunately, I can't unreject, I can only accept a rejected translation.
I'm not good enough in english to evaluate but it's just that I don't see any other member being able to translate arabic-english better than this. But maybe I'm wrong as I dont know everyone now .

No - I agree. Elmota does better than anyone else. I'm going to edit it to what I think it means, and maybe Elmota can tell me if she thinks it's correct.

yeezzz zats moch betta
but two things, the original script uses the word "protocol" as is, in English, because its very popular, although "arrangement" works fine, but i hope there is a way to fit in "protocol"
second thing is "you would be the sole producer" its the other way round... we are the producers, and we have like, mm, a special line of production for you, but there is no exclusivity in that relationship...
thank you kafe, it is hard for me because i always hated official letters, they throw so much burden at words they actually break them!

I changed the sentence that said "you would be the sole producer" to "to produce these goods exclusively for you" - is that correct?

As for protocol, I'm not aware of it being so popular in English in a business context - it sounds more political to me, which is why I changed it.

no, the production is not exclusive, thats what im trying to say, they are just saying: we will set aside some of our products with ur name on it and send them to u, u know? they do that a lot in dry good market...

OK; thanks. I'll see how I can edit it. Maybe "for you" is enough. What do you think, Elmota?

Francky, I've accepted this translation instead. I didn't know I had the power to do that, but apparently I do.
