We are pleased that you have found some time for us in addition to all the other responsibilities you have. Every beginning is difficult and in particular beginning in our profession. Here at our school, we have completed all of the preparations for the communication. We held a teachers' meeting with our principal and have already come up with the schedule of responsibilities. Our students are eagerly looking forward to the first letters, as well as the information about the students from the UK.

By the way, what is the meaning of the word "communication" in
all of the preparations for the communication
?
Does this word mean "correspondence," i.e. writing back and forth to each other?

Communication is referring to contact. Originally it was written as contact but it did not sound right. Anyway, it refers to a form of communication. Thank you for your corrections. The meaning is right.
