| | "tá bom" würde ich mit "alles klar" übersetzen. |

| | Texto original sem sentido... eu e você, nós combinamos com você. Isso é totalmente inaceitável na lÃngua portuguesa. Provavelmente não foi escrito por brasileiro |

I'd just like to remark that "nós combinamos com você" could have the sense of reaching a consense of doing something/ deciding together to do something; though in portuguese the correct sentence in order to express this idea would be "eu combinei com você" or simply "nós combinamos". |

| | Bridge, please? The source seems to be written in a bad style (orthographically spoken), so I just want to be sure it has been translated correctly. Thanks CC: casper tavernello goncin thathavieira |

| | Here it goes:
<bridge>
I'm going to work for a short time here in Spain. You and me, we'll settle it with you. You can come here to Spain, OK?

| | Just one more question before I'm fully satisfied: What exactly do you mean with "settle" in this context? It has so many different meanings and I don't know exactly which one to take here... The German text as it now stands says "you and me we fit together very well". |

| | Heidrun,
After lilian's advice, I've corrected the third period to "You can come here to Spain, OK?" above.
The verb "combinar" in Portuguese can mean both "to match" and "to settle, to adjust". I think the translator took the first sense, but the second one is more logical in the context. |

| | Indeed, it fits a lot better in this context.
Rodrigues, ich schlage vor "Du und ich, wir regeln das schon" oder etwas in der Art. Einverstanden? |

| | Oh come on, Lily, don't be shy and tell us what you think! CC: lilian canale |

| | Lilian has said "nós combinamos" can also be in past tense, but I still think it is in present tense having a future sense.
Confusing, isn't it? |

| | Honestly Heidrun, what I think is that I shouldn't have tried to correct the terrible text the original was. I should have removed it.
I think we are still on time to do so. |
| | 18 červenec 2008 13:42 |
| | No, we don't remove it anymore, now we have spent so much work on it . Anyway, it's "meaning only" so it will disappear soon of our database, so you don't have to worry about it any longer CC: lilian canale |
