Cheesecake asked me if this text could be in present tense - the Dutch text is very clear and without a doubt written in past tense.
The verb here is 'sluiten'. Present tense (I close) would be 'ik sluit'; Past tense (I closed) 'ik sloot'. Present perfect (I have closed) 'ik heb gesloten'.

@ İlker, Hollandaca uzmanı Lein orjinal metnin açık olduğunu ve kesinlikle geçmiş zamanda yazıldığını söylüyor. Buradaki yüklemin "sluiten" olduğunu, ve bu durumda geniş zaman (ik sluit), geçmiş zaman (ik sloot), yakın geçmiş zaman ise (ik heb gesloten) şeklinde çevrilmesi gerektiğini söylüyor. Bu durumda "Kollarımı tekrar kapattım(ik sloot)" dememiz daha doğru olacak.

Hum OK then.. I guess at this point there is a problem with Turkish, so maybe I had better to ask the one who knows also Turkish.

Chantal, could you please help us here? For the text should we say "kapattım" or "kapatıyorum"? Which one is better or is there any other option?

I'm so sorry! I never seem to have received the e-mail about this one.. Since it's in the past tense in Dutch it should be 'kolumu tekrar kapattim'. It's in the singular in Dutch, but maybe it would be better in the plural, which then would be 'kollarimi tekrar kapattim'

İlker, Chantal'ın dediğine göre de bu cümlenin Türkçe'de geçmiş zamanda çevrilmesi gerekiyor yani "kollarımı tekrar kapattım" şeklinde çevirmemiz gerektiğini söylüyor. Bu durumda bence yalnızca fiil kısmını değiştirmemiz gerekiyor, çevirini bu şekilde düzenlememi kabul ediyor musun?
