Original text - English - proper in the piracy scene

In the Internet piracy scene, this term is used when a release group is making a release of something that already exists on the Internet, but the group give a reason for the second release. In the case of a movie, a previous release might have been terrible quality or against the scene rules. Some groups on the Internet have recieved a bad name as all they seem to ever do is PROPER releases but never are fast enough to make a first release.
