Hi cheesecake,
"...come across with the roads of a foreign country,"?

Could you explain that, please?

Hello lilian, actually I made word-by word translation so it gives the exact meaning of the original, but it might sound ridicilous in English, what do you think?
But the writer uses the word "roads" metaphorically.
I try to mean: when she goes another country, life will make her an angel because of her stubborn and responsible attitude. We can also say that ; when a foreign country and her stubborn attitude comes together, life makes her an angel.

Wow - this is a tough one!

How about this:

When her determination, sense of responsibility and stubbornness cross paths with a foreign country,

or this one, which is a lot looser, but makes more sense:

When her determination, sense of responsibility and stubbornness are put to the test in a foreign country,

I think it would be easier to make a decision if we knew the purpose of the translation. If it's to sell a book, the 2nd choice might be better, as English-speaking readers would be sure to understand it (assuming that I understood the meaning of this phrase correctly).
