What does "three for three" mean?

I imagine that it might be "3 x 3", ie three metres by three metres, or 9 square metres, the dimensions of a "small room"???

Tantine is right once again It is a sentence from our commercial (really stupid one if I may add) - small room 3x3

My partner is a DIY man (he likes sawing up pieces of wood and then nailing them to my walls and telling me that it's a bookcase) so I hear a lot of 3x4 and 4X6 so I guessed it was something similar.

The commercial was for furniture or smth like that. Like you have a small room (3mx3m) and what can you put in it I wonder why Dragomir needs translation for that but nevermind.

So then could we say "a small 3m x 3m room", or does it have to be "a small room, 3m x 3m"?

We could say it that way, doesn't change the sense at all...
