| | Hi antigraph,
I can't read Greek, but...
Do you mean "hurried"? (adj. for someone who is always in a hurry, pushed for time)
or "coercive" (someone who compels people to do things) |

ΠΙΕΣΤΙΚΟΣ is the person who pushes people, a persistent kind of person. However, I always thought that "coercive" is a bit stronger than a person that just pushes people a lot.
The Greek expression is a bit more vague you see and it could be used i.e. to complain to someone who persists in asking you a question (e.g. "When are you coming here?" . It can also be used to describe someone who is in fact oppressing you, a coercive person. |

| | What about:
"You are overwhelming" ? |

| | It should be You are overwhelming me with just overwhelming it does not make sense! |

| | Why not AspieBrain?
"overwhelming" is an adjective, like "fat" or "beautiful". |

| | I don't think we should use owerwhelming in this occasion.Maybe "oppressive" or "compelling" sound better. |

| | Hi Lilian and Hello to all friends,:}
How is called finally the person, who pressing the writters feelings and emotions?
Thanks a lot all of you |

| iriniNumber of messages: 849 | Hmmm, maybe my English is failing me in this matter, but I would say that "oppressive" is someone who is cooercive, someone who represses, ο καταπιεστικός. And "compelling" has a positive meaning. A compelling argument is one that makes you want to agree. A compelling person makes you want to agree with him/her. That is that's what I think.
Είσαι Ï€Î¿Î»Ï Ï€Î¹ÎµÏƒÏ„Î¹ÎºÏŒÏ‚ doesn't necessary means that he opresses someone. He can just be too pushy. And if I may, we dont really know that he is "pressing the writers feelings and emotions". He may just be a major pain. Examples:
Είσαι Ï€Î¿Î»Ï Ï€Î¹ÎµÏƒÏ„Î¹ÎºÏŒÏ‚. Τι Ïωτάς και ξαναÏωτάς; Δε σου λÎω το ζώδιό μου! ελαφÏÏ
Είσαι Ï€Î¿Î»Ï Ï€Î¹ÎµÏƒÏ„Î¹ÎºÏŒÏ‚ ξÎÏεις. ΔΕΠΘΕΛΩ ÎΑ ΠΑΜΕ ΓΙΑ ΚΑΦΕ ΧΡΙΣΤΙΑÎΕ ΜΟΥ! λιγουλάκι βαÏÏτεÏο
Ο μπαμπάς μου είναι Ï€Î¿Î»Ï Ï€Î¹ÎµÏƒÏ„Î¹ÎºÏŒÏ‚.
Είσαι Ï€Î¿Î»Ï Ï€Î¹ÎµÏƒÏ„Î¹ÎºÏŒÏ‚.
That's why I like "overwhelming". It's vague you see. |

| | This should be a simple and of easy evaluation work, however it seems to be an endless issue finding the exact meaning.
Irini could you please put an end on this?
I'll accept the version you agree with.
Thanks.
Oops! I think we were posting at the same time.
Well, so "overwhelming" will be. |
