Title
They said why are you crying, I said I loved,...
Text
Submitted by tamaraulbra
Source language: English Translated by turkishmiss

They said: "Why are you crying?", I said: "I loved". They said: "Why are you troubled?" I said: "I gave my heart". They said: "Was it worth the trouble for a foreign girl?" I said: "It wasn't".
Remarks about the translation
There's a capital letter at the beginning of Elin so I guess it's a name. But without the cap it could be : They said is it worth the trouble for a foreign girl.

I have edited to add punctuation here to make it more easily readable in English

dediler means they said does not mean they asked, niye üzülüyorsun means why you re feeling sad.

I believe the troubled person is a boy, because it is asked "was it worth the trouble for a girl?" In this case, the word "perturbada" should bne changed into "perturbado". =)

I would maybe translate "trabalho" por "aborrecimento".
