| XiniNumber of messages: 1655 | Ciao Sophie,
la traduzione ai sembra ok.
Ho solo un dubbio: l'inizio. Penso che "E" sia proprio "och" e non un "è" sbagliato.
Cosa dici? |

| | mm..riguardando il testo vedo che è possibile che sia un semplice "e" (och), e solo che in svedese molto raramente si usa inizare una frase con "e", e penso che vale anche per l'italiano. quindi per quel motivo l'avevo tradotto in "è".
ma ovviamente puoi avere ragione tu. |

| XiniNumber of messages: 1655 | Ho capito.
Sì teoricamente non si dovrebbe usare neanche in italiano, ma talvolta si usa e ha un certo "sapore" ("licenza poetica"?).
Magari esiste una congiunzione svedese che potresti usare? Il mio svedese è abbastanza dilettantistico |

| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | hm...I don't understand what you talking about, is there something wrong with this translation? |
| | 9 December 2007 11:00 |
| XiniNumber of messages: 1655 | The problem is that the first word is "E" and not "È" as she translated. (Literally "Och i Venedig som...." . |

| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | Xini, sophie_qui
Should it be: "Och det är i Venedig som..."
? |
| | 12 December 2007 14:24 |
| XiniNumber of messages: 1655 | Ja, men hen säger att "och" är inte god att börja en svensk mening... |
| | 12 December 2007 14:37 |
| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | ...Jag tror att hon har rätt där
I thought this text was a extract from something and maybe you could begin a sense with "Och"..if there is something written before.
The swedish is fine and if the meaning is ok now (?)...I think that we should accept this.

| XiniNumber of messages: 1655 | Could it be better conveyed by "At the end, in Venice, ..." ?
|
| | 13 December 2007 12:47 |
| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | Xini, since I don't understand Italian , I can't tell...is that what the source text 'say'?
|
| | 13 December 2007 13:19 |
| XiniNumber of messages: 1655 | Something like this, but I bet it's not completely translateable.
So, If "Och i Venedig" sounds wrong, You can use the equivalent of "At the end" or leave it as it is. |
| | 13 December 2007 13:34 |
| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | Sorry for the nag.. but do you mean like this:
"Det är slutligen i Venedig som.."
|
| | 13 December 2007 13:40 |
| XiniNumber of messages: 1655 | The italian is literally:
And in Venice the poor housewife realizes that she can..."
"And" has a little nuance of conclusion too.
So you can try to get the best out of it.
No, maybe "det är slutigen" does not sound very ok. |
| | 13 December 2007 14:09 |
| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | Så det är i Venedig som..
? |
| | 14 December 2007 13:37 |
| piasNumber of messages: 8113 | Thanks Xini for your explain,
I can't find a better way to write than sophie_qui already done, so this is to be accepted now. |
