Hoi Ernst volgens mij klopt de komma in de eerste zin niet. Het Engels 'For all of you I am reconnecting with finally' betekent in dit geval 'voor jullie allemaal met wie ik eindelijk weer in contact kom' of zo. (Er zijn vast mooiere formuleringen mogelijk, doe maar een suggestie!)
Ook heb je 'hoe het ging' (the way it went' weggelaten na 'waar ik was'.
Een laatste puntje: 'alstublieft' lijkt me wat te formeel hier. 'alsjebleift' of iets als 'graag' of 'heel graag' lijkt me beter.
Zeg maar wat je ervan vindt, na edits (van jou of mij) kan hij de poll in

For Belgian (Flemish) people, Ernst's original 'alstublieft' would probably be better than 'alsjeblieft', although they will understand both.
