Hiertoe wordt het produkt gemengd met salpeterzuur en water. De gele vloeistof dient als beschermingsvloeistof, hecht zich aan de zijkanten van het te etsen relief en voorkomt zogenaamde onderetsen. Het produkt bevat ondermeer aminocarbonzure tensio actieve stoffen.
