Hi librik,

Could you explain this line, please?

"and the security who asked us what time we need to be at home
so dearly precious"

I think that the sentences "and the security who asked us what time we need to be at home" and "so dearly precious" are not connected. At least I translated them as two different sentences. was that what you meant?

I just don't understand that "security". Is that a security guard?
Could you explain the line in different words?

Yes, by security I meant a security guard or a house detective or a bouncer. maybe in some nightclub or something... I don't really know what the author of this text means by that... I just translated it how I understood. so some security guard had asked them when they needed to be back at home. It's probably about something they did together and now it's something good to remember.
did I answer your question?

If that's to remember good times they spent together I think that line could be something like:
"Oh,...and that security guard asking about what time we should be home..." (like if evoking a special moment). See what I mean?

Anyway we have to use the noun "guard" if we are referring to the person.
