"Jag har väntat i en evighet plus en dag och kommer fortsätta, men"
Translates to:
I have waited for an eternity plus a day and will continue, but"

Otherwise it sounded really funny in swedish in my opinion.

"Jag väntar fortfarande i evighet plus en dag men" would be the direct translation but i recommend not to use it. I added a coma since the sentence became so long.

The last verse sounds a bit funny too, I assume it's "those words" that the author heard being said. Nevertheless, since it's the same in English i left it as it is. But you might want to add the Swedish word "Som" before "Jag" in the last line. "Som" means "that". Well simply it that part doesn't seem to "flow" in the same way it does in English.
