Det här låter bra, förutom de allra sista orden "allt i liv", som jag funderar på om man kan ändra på något vis. Ett förslag skulle vara att istället skriva "allt annat i livet". Vad tycker du om det och skulle det bli rätt? (T.i. would it still be a correct tranlation? - the Swedish would be okay.) Fundera annars på någon annan ändring precis i slutet.
Is it okay that I write in Swedish or is it better to discuss translations in English? (This was all about a need of some small change in the end of the translation - to those not speaking Swedish)
I still prefer discussing the translations in English if you don't mind. My Swedish isn't good enough yet and I'm afraid I may not be able to make myself understood properly.
For the exact meaning of the sentence in Portuguese, it is: "I love you more than everything in this life.
Now you tell me what would be then the best translation.
Of course we can! I am sorry! I just thought that maybe it would work out as well in Swedish and in such case, why not try it? :-)
Maybe we could write "jag älskar dig mer än allt i det här livet" (in this translation). That is what I propose. Another possibility would be to just change from "liv" to "livet" (jag älskar dig mer än allt i livet" ). I personally like the first alternative (...mer än allt i det här livet) better, but I don't think any of them is wrong.
We could change it to any one of these two and then I would like to put it out for a vote.
