I wonder if they don´t mean "what do they call you in school" (meaning: do you have a nick name in school?).

Here, I have to agree with Anita... I would have translated: "How do they call you in school?"

I use to modify my translation when I thought it was wrong or according to the comments I received, but in this case, just ask kafetzou and she can tell you. In the end she is the expert who evaluates the text.

Bhatarsaigh: the literal translation would not be "how", but "what" (hvad = what). Not that I think it make much difference :-)

"How do they call you" is not correct. The correct version is as it stands, I think.
