| | hi,
no idea what meaning is under this phrase. I've translated literally from Polish.
|
| | 9 Janeiro 2008 14:20 |
| | ...i would use "toxic" as well here |

| smyNúmero de Mensagens: 2481 | hi karolinuha,
I can't understand what is "poisonous/toxic" because "a poisonous/toxic day" sounds strange,isn't it? |
| | 9 Janeiro 2008 17:24 |
| | well, the sentence sounds strange in Polish as well (the aim of the author of the Polish text was to be poetic, I guess, but it doesn't make much sense in Polish neither). I've made only the LITERAL translation Polish-English. I would suggest to contact the author of the Polish version (was it actually the original text or already translated from Turkish into Polish?) |

| bontaNúmero de Mensagens: 218 | I have to agree with the opinions listed earlier.
This doesn't make much sense in polish, but i don't see any other translation either.
I would have translated it the same way, using eventually the "toxic" option. |

| | I see "day" twice in the English version, but I don't see any repeated words in the Polish. Can someone who can read Polish please explain this? CC: bonta dariajot |

| | Excuse me, Kafetzou. I don't speak Polish but I can say that "dzien" and "dnia" are "day". |
| | 12 Janeiro 2008 09:15 |
| | Exactly, casper, "dnia" is Genetivus case form of "dzien" in Polish. |

| bontaNúmero de Mensagens: 218 | You've been quicker, so let me just confirm
dzien & dnia is the same word 'day'. |
