Commentaires pour la traduction
"trust" could be replaced by "self-esteem" eventually, even though I believe in the emotional context, "trust" is more suitable.

Yes, "trust" is the right choice.

He has lost his trust generally.
"when I was on the verge of separation during summer...", he's thinking, "...what happened now?
And me, what am I standing for, the clown role ? What should I wait for... a dream ?".

tell-metaphorical use. It's not that "he" is telling someone something. We use "σου λέει" when we talk about a third person and his thoughts.

I disagree on your "σου λέει" analysis, as there is no comma after it. If it was ",σου λέει,", I would be in total agreement with your proposal, and it should be kept instead of mine.

But as it is, I see a dialog between the message writer and the receiver, the first asking the latter if he/she has some insight/knowledge of a third person's opinion/position, whom they're talking about ("εμπιστοσυνη του", "σου λεει", and with whom the receiver probably still has contact, while the sender is cut off.

What do you think about it ?

I believe the text is clear, the punctuation problem isn't serious enough to cause ambiguity (the problem is not the lack of the comma after "σου λέει", but the presence of the questionmark in the end of the second line, indirect interrogative clause as an object)

Yes, that's what I'm saying. It's a dialog between the writer and the receiver, concerning a third person, but I can't see how someone would use this structure ( "σου λέει" ) in a different way (to ask something and not just present/transfer the thoughts of another person). I repeat, it's not that someone is actually saying smt to someone else ( "to you" ). "σου λέει", here, is a figure of speech ( "is he telling you", but "he thinks/wonders) .

He has lost his trust generally... "While I was on the verge of separation during summer..." , he thinks,/he wonders " / []...what happened now? What am I standing for, the clown role ? What should I wait for... a dream ? " .

e.g. While s/he was about to seperate their mate starts to act in a more friendly way and they wonder "what happened now, and what am I standing for, the clown role? (doing everything you want and when you want: seperate/be together)

Ok, it goes better with the general meaning of the whole paragraph, I concur with your option indeed. The context seems to be describing someone's ambivalent state and his self-questionings.

I'm changing the translation for your advised one then.

As I cannot modify it, please replace the second line by :
"when I was on the verge of separation during summer...", he's thinking, "...what happened now?
