"...full of..." would be better than "full with"

affectation? is it possible to make it plural? we should do it i think.

It cannot be "full of with", with has to go.

Yep, definitely need to remove "with".
And I didn't know 'affectation' was a word until now lol.
But I'm not sure whether the French 'artifice' would suggest more *deception* / trickery, than affectation, which a dictionary informs me means 'behaviour intended to impress' ?

"My life is full of affectation". To use two prepositions like this isn't correct English.

I agree with you here that "affectation" does not seem adapted to the text.

The French dictionary "Le Petit Larousse Illustré" ed. 2004 defines the word "artifice" as a

"procedé ingénieux, habile pour tromper; ruse"

which translates as

"ingenious process, fit for deceiving"

Maybe it would be better to put

"My life is full of pretence"

What do you all think?

I think "affettazione" should be translated as "affection".
